The extra upstairs bedroom is where I go to hide away from the world when I need a break but it is also where I park the toys when I have company over for the holidays.
Right now I have to climb over all the wheels and the loom to get to my comfy chair in the corner.
I did some climbing yesterday because I am still too lazy to put everything away and clear up the holiday stuff. Maybe tomorrow.
It was more important to get my hands in some fiber than it was to clean.
To add to my much needed brain break, I also drug out this oldie but goodie. It's a giant lace shawl that is very near completion. I've been working on it since 2008. I've pretty much lost interest in it but right now it will be the cure for a bad case of startitis I feel coming on. It makes no sense to start anything new this close to the MDSW, right?

Great toys!
ReplyDeleteYour room upstairs sounds perfect to me - no cleaning needed!! And your lace shawl looks beautiful - love the color.
ReplyDeleteThe words "giant lace shawl" doesn't say brain break to me. LOL! But just sitting amongst all those wheels does....I find sitting amongst my wheels extremely peacful. Besides, house cleaning is totally over rated.
ReplyDeleteOh I cant wait to see that Lace shawl lady. 2008-2017 is only 9 littleyears
ReplyDeleteI gave into startitis... I like your idea of working on a long forgotten WIP.
ReplyDeleteWonderful toys! I can think of nothing better. I can't wait to see that lace shawl when it's done.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Betsy
Lots of stitches on that shawl! Sounds like a perfect escape room to me.
ReplyDeleteOooo. I would love to have an escape room! Don't get me started on the whole cleaning and cluttering thing. I had an extra day off and I wasn't even close to doing one chore.
ReplyDeleteOh golly. I'M not going to be of much help. I say cast on to your heart's content! LOL
ReplyDeleteHave fun at MDSW.
