Easter Sunday was hot. Flip flop and sundress hot. AC on hot. Too hot.
The Grands didn't seem to mind but I sure did. I don't do hot well.
We got it all in. A trip down to the "big water". Egg hunt. Lots of food. Egg dyeing. Cake and candy. It was a good day but it was-too darn hot.
Such fun! I can't imagine how hot it is back there. Mandy is telling me the same thing. Our furnace has been running and it was 28° at the camper last night! Crazy! Today was a beautiful sunshiny day though tomorrow is supposed to be more rain. I'm glad you had a good day. Blessings,

Sounds like a good day --- well, except for the hot.
ReplyDeleteBut, wasn't it nice to wear flip flops again???? LOL
Ha-ha! Did you say it was hot? ;) Easter sure is special when young children are involved. We haven't seen the sun in over a week now here in the desert. Not looking forward to the summer heat ... gets to 120 F here and up :/ Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteIt was hot here too - mid 80's! But gusty winds and a forecast in the 50's Wed. The roller coaster continues. Glad you had such a nice day (but hot).
ReplyDeleteToo hot? Impossible! Looks like a great day!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun time was had. I agree though, it was waaayy too hot!
ReplyDeleteOh here in Dairy Land I love the heat, humidity and warmth soooo sooo much. Glad you had fun even if you were too hot!!
ReplyDeleteIt was the same here but windy....to windy to put the patio umbrella up so we all got a bit to much sun. I'm not complaining though. I'm still unthawing from my life in the north. LOL
ReplyDeleteLoved your Easter photos! No flip flops here, rain boots maybe?
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the photos of your hot Easter and they egg dying. I think I'm just squishy for the sweetness of your grands enjoying the day! Yeah I'm not so good at hot either.
