I know I was just complaining about having too many socks on the needles but socks are socks and everything else isn't.
Other than socks I have just three things going now and it just doesn't seem right.
I know there is also a giant blanket in a box under the bed that needs work but I don't count blankets. They are supposed to be forever projects. Right now I am torn between starting something new or seeing what it feels like to have nothing on the needles. I wonder how long I can hold out.

I love your logic. Start smth new with your homespun yarn. Always such a pleasure to see the progress.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you manage to have so many things on the go at once! I start to feel anxious if I have more than a couple...
ReplyDeleteThe endless dilemma .... do I work on what I have or do I start something new?????
ReplyDeleteI'm nearing the end of my current pair of socks, and I'm trying to decide what to do next. Socks and ...???
ReplyDeleteI almost always have socks on the needles and another bigger project like the sweater I'm working on now or a blanket or shawl. Of course there are always mittens going on. Any more than two or three projects and I start to panic. Good luck deciding. Blessings, Betsy
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud at "socks are socks" They certainly don't seem to count towards the project tally, do they?
ReplyDeleteDo what makes you most happy my friend!
ReplyDeleteI've got most things off the needle so I feel your pain. Inspiration will come-I usually note the things I don't want to work on and look at the smaller choices! lol
ReplyDeleteOh man. My needles are salivating to cast on something else! But I'm sticking to patching that sock first before I cast on anything else. The socks are coming along in the meantime. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I have a Baby Surprise Jacket and a baby blanket on my needles -- I need to get the jacket further along pretty quickly and the blanket is a few months late ... I need to get those needles clicking!
ReplyDeleteOh Lord....having nothing on the needles sounds horrible.....that's just not an option! You must start something new.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about a new project that's so enticing? That second sock is always so hard for me to start let alone finish, especially when there's more yarn lurking and beckoning.... And don't ask how many projects I have waiting in the wings.....
