That's my new Asus Chromebook helping me warp my loom yesterday morning. I love it. It weighs nothing, never gets hot and is as fast as lightening. The very best thing about it is that it was only $179.
My beloved Dell laptop is on it's last legs. It freezes all the time and is as slow as molasses in winter. I spend more time fixing it than using it. There was no way I could afford a new laptop so I went exploring for an inexpensive option.
Until the arrival of the Chromebook, I'd been relying on my dearly loved Kindle Fire to do all the things my laptop was supposed to be doing but couldn't. Since they are similar beings, I took a chance on a Chromebook and I'm glad I did. So far. I've used it for everything but blogging. That will be the real test. If I disappear for a while you'll know why. Blame Google.
