Making a Point

The first Selbu mitten is done. I hate the top. Too pointy. I knew going in that it would be too pointy but for some reason I was in denial. I hoped it wouldn't look too bad-but it does.


I am going to rip out the top and play with the pattern to make it rounder.


I still need to do the thumb but I decided to wait and do them both together in case I have to fiddle with it- because you know I'm going to have to.

    It looks fine! The Norwegian style is pointy...it looks good on your hand; step back and breathe. Make the other mitten and enjoy them! They're beautiful!
