The Mister and I have managed to convince ourselves that we will be able to go to Rhinebeck this year. So much so, that we have actually booked a room-a non-refundable room. As a result, I have been working feverishly on the garments I would like to parade around in and all but one is completed.
The Aran sweater is still in pieces.
The two at a time sleeves have only an inch to go before I should be able to start seaming but the problem is the heat and humidity make working on them a real drag. I am adding only two rows a day now and those two rows are like torture. I can only hope, that after all this, the festival takes place on a weekend that is cool enough for wool. After this summer, I have my doubts. I also have my doubts we will really be going. With elderly parents and aged pets anything (and everything) can happen.

I hear ya about elderly parents and pets. I really hope you'll make it, you deserve it after all that knitting!
ReplyDeletewow you have knit so much and spun and dyed so much this summer. I hope it is down right chilly and you wear everything. It is so hot here that clothing should be optional.
