The Jacob I dyed in the sun turned out spectacular. I moved the jars from the shed roof to the vegetable garden and I learned that it is not the air temperature but the amount of time the sun has to do its thing that matters most in getting the dye to exhaust. This time four out of four jars were clear after only 2 relatively milder but sunnier days. I can't wait for this to dry. I have big plans for Mr. Jacob.
PS: Today is Sumsunshine's birthday. I won't post silly kiddie pictures of her here this year. Instead I am going to do it over on my wedding blog where she is known as Bride to Be.
