Our little beach town has its 4th of July celebration on the 3rd every year. Since this is the bay state of Maryland, we always get a bushel of blue crabs.
Soon to be Daughter in Law brought flowers and watermelon.
I picked up some corn at the market.
The Mister charred it on the grill after brushing it with olive oil and garlic. It was good.
Then there were sparklers-but first there was rain.
It dampened the fireworks. The city still shot them off over the bay but we decided not to stand in the rain to see them. The sparklers were enough.
