Wednesday WIPs: On the Border
I'm still working my way around the border of Dad's squares quilt. I've got one more long side to go.
I finished (!) all the blue sky that Rainbow Kitty is floating in and have started his border.
I've got some supply issues with that border. I thought I had more rainbow colors leftover than I have. I'll have to figure something out if I want to keep that ROY G BIV thing going.
And.....I'm finally a few rows in on the spring green towel. I had to rip it out once from tension issues but I think I've got it this time. I've really been living on the edge this week.
Ahh, you are wrapping up Rainbow Kitty at last! Pretty new weaving!
ReplyDeleteYay for Rainbow Kitty! So beautiful! I'm also interested in seeing how your binding looks. While I have pieced binding bringing in different fabrics/colors, I have never worked with pieces as short as what you used.
ReplyDeleteWhoo-hoo! Rainbow Kitty's sky is done! You've been working on that a long time.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is looking great too. You do so much more intricate projects than I do.
Blessings,
Betsy
It always amazes me how many awesome projects you have going at once. Love the towel!
ReplyDeleteThe nearly finished projects are fabulous! I’m eager to see photos when they are completed.
