Tiny Needle Tuesday
Thanks to my new light I am still speeding through the latest baby sampler. I've almost managed to keep to my one block a day schedule but there was a lot of outlining and corner work to do this week.
The soon to be Baby Grand Number 5's quilt has been cut into blocks.....
.....and I've spent a ridiculous amount of time staring at my layout to try and get everything to where it looks right. This is always the hardest part for me because I swear no matter how many time I check things over, when I go to sew it all together there is always something where it shouldn't be.
That is going to be a really cute quilt. You're too hard on yourself. I'm sure the layout will be just fine. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe cross-stitch is coming along quickly. That light was a good investment!
Blessings,
Betsy
The baby sampler is coming along so nicely. Pretty fabrics in the quilt. Have fun!!
ReplyDeleteWhen doing a crazy D9P sometimes you just have to let the blocks fall where they may
ReplyDeleteThe sampler is cute and fun as is the quilt. I could never wrap my head around the layout of a disappearing nine patch.
ReplyDeleteOne block a day; that's impressive! It's really pretty, and the quilt will be very nice as well. Lucky baby!
ReplyDeleteAt least you have it cut correctly--now just rearrange and take a pic--it is easier to see a 'mistake' that way! The stitching looks good!
