A Race to the Finish

I've got a lot of things that are almost ready to come off the needles this week. Number 10 for instance.

The Lofoten twins and Undine are getting closer to their toes.

That's a good thing because my box of needles has shown up which means I can cast on the Bitty Spruce.

I've been doing a lot of cleaning, unboxing and organizing this week and look what I found. I really can't be tempted to start any dishcloths but those balls of cotton are so darn pretty it's going to be hard to resist.

Lots of you asked about Pup yesterday so here she is doing her best to stop me from spinning. As you can see she is up and around more these days but still limping pretty badly. We do her therapy several times a day even though she hates it. She did get her bath-thank goodness. What she needs is a hair cut so her bare back end matches her shaggy front but I think she's still too skittish for that. She's still pretty traumatized by the whole disaster-as are we. The good news is that the pillow fort is gone. We're slowly getting back to normal-though still making a lot of adjustments for her limitations.

  1. Yay for a dismantled pillow fort! Yay for slowly getting back to normal. Pup looks darling with her long hair. Bangs are back! :-)
Your socks and little sweater are looking great. I would like to make some doilys but I also ordered an embroidery kit and I want to work on my scrap blanket and of course there are always mittens to do. I have to sew the Christmas ornaments together but thankfully I have all of the cross stitching done.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  3. glad you are easing into a more normal existence! Maybe a set of doggy stairs will be a good investment so she can get on the couch again! Nice to clean out and find a long-lost treasure!

  5. I look forward to your posts! I started grooming my own little princess during the pandemic. It was a little rough in the beginning, but heck we were not going anywhere anyway. We both find it much less stressful now that we can just go out to the backyard early in the morning and get a haircut done. I also bathe her at home. She was just so stressed when she saw the groomer. I watched a few youtube videos and then I was off to the races.
