Hooked

I'm not much of a sports fan but I made the mistake of watching the first NCAA games on Friday while keeping an eye on my brackets and now I can't stop watching them. I wanted to sew down the binding on the snowflake quilt and watch the games so it was a good thing that I discovered you can stream them.

I usually listen to an audiobook while I do this but seeing yesterday's upsets was darned exciting-even if they did terrible things to my brackets. You have to love an underdog.

  1. Our team, Gonzaga, is in the playoffs. Both the girls team and the boys team. I think the team from Omaha, Creighton, is also still in the running. It's all so exciting and fun for everyone.

  3. While I am NOT a a sports fan, we did live near Syracuse Univ so of course, it is the team we always rooted for! Nice to see they made the sweet 16! The quilt is looking good!

  5. The University of Wyoming women’s team is playing in the NCAA tournament this year. Their first game is tonight. I’m not a true sports fan like my sister, but I’m glad the Cowgirls had a good season and the opportunity to playin the tournament. I hope they do well.

  7. I am usually watching all the games but not this year. Aside from Loyola where I went....I'm not too into it. But, that could change....Sr jean

  8. I think Wyoming beat the Gonzaga girls last night? I don't know for sure, I really don't follow sports much, but I do know our girls lost to whoever they played.
Sunday Omaha's Creighton Blue Jays are playing Spokane's Gonzaga Bulldogs. Who do we root for now? :-)
