The woods haven't got the message yet. It's still winter out there.
At least there is no ice on the little creek that runs beside the house. We had to clear debris out of it a few weeks ago when it got stopped up by floating sticks and branches.
The sunny front yard is a different world. It's all in bloom. Both my tiny daffys and my big daffys are putting on quite the show. They've enjoyed the warm days as much as I have.
The Camellias are also getting ready to pop. They were spectacular last year. If we don't get another hard freeze it's looking pretty good for this year too.
I'm jealous of the color in your yard. We don't have any yet. Those tiny daffodils always amaze me with their perfection.

How lovely that camellia bud is! Flowers truly fill me with hope, to thank you for those pictures this morning!!
ReplyDeleteMy daffodils are getting taller but no blooming yet. Probably by Easter tho! Yay!
ReplyDeleteYou have flowers? How exciting! I planted a bunch of daffodils last fall. However, they are unlikely to come up while there is snow on the ground -- and more predicted for tonight!
ReplyDeleteoh gosh, NO hard freeze. Please. That blossom is beautiful Deb

ReplyDeleteLove it! We are back to minus temps this week. But spring is coming... eventually!
ReplyDeleteHooray! Those are just the signs of Spring you need and the woods will get the hint soon!
