November Stitching

This past weekend was the first time I have had this month to sit and get a few stitches in any of my new fall samplers.

The poor Thanksgiving sampler just barely got started and now I am going to pack it away for next year.

I got both acorns done on the turkey so all the "things" are done. Next year I am going to have to get serious about the background which means I'll have to buy a lot of something in order to fill all that space.

Then there are the fall potholders. As of right now, I've got two bindings finished and two to go. I want to pack them up with all the fall things when I bring out the winter decor on December 1st so they need to go to the top of the priority list. Starting right now.

  5. That seems like a good way to work on things. Everything eventually gets done and you never get bored or tired of any one project.

  6. Your projects are all just beautiful! I would never be able to put a few of them away until the next season. I don't know how you do all the various crafts and make soap, etc. By the way, the soap you sent me a few months ago is just wonderful! Thank you for your generosity.

  7. Ah it's very fall in your crafty corner of the world. I love it when that turkey comes out for some WIP. I wish there was more time to craft.

  8. I just love the way you stitch seasonally. I don't think I'm organized enough to pull it off.
