The foyer and the hallway are done. Next up is the kitchen.
I am a very messy painter but The Mister isn't. Look at his brush on the left. After all this painting it looks almost new while mine is covered in paint. It isn't the only thing covered in paint. I backed right into a wet wall today. I'll spare you that photo though.
Painting IS a messy thing. But there will be a beautiful result, I am sure.
ReplyDeleteLol. I could have taken the exact same picture when Dave and I were painting together. His brush was pristine. My brush was not. And we won't talk about the paint all over me.....
ReplyDeleteI guess I know why my husband doesn't want me "helping" with the painting. But I threaten to if he doesn't get to it quickly enough - lol.
ReplyDeleteOur painting techniques are every different in this marriage too!
ReplyDeleteThat's because you are creative....creative people are generally messy. At least that's the excuse I always use.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy painting but haven't felt up to it lately. I feel that the office and guest room really need painting. They haven't been refreshed since we built the house 14 years ago. They still look fine but in my mind it's been long enough that they need painting. Ha!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Oh my! The hallway, the foyer, the CROCS and the butt are now painted.
ReplyDelete(Sounds like how I paint. DH is much neater too.)
I appreciate the sharing of backing into the wet wall. I seem to be messy with everything I do. hehehe.
ReplyDeleteI am a totally involved painter, too.
ReplyDeleteIt's the creativity coming out in us!
I LOVE the Halloween soaps . BOO!
ReplyDeleteI have had some painting done myself but I did not do it, I am a messier painter than you can imagine and I get it all over the floor. Not good!
