The backing of Daddio's quilt is pretty busy. Like the front, there are lots and lots of seams.
That makes machine quilting tricky because the potential for puckers is enormous. I decided just to use the walking foot to outline the tumblers. It may be simple but it's still slow going because I have to grab onto both sides of the backing and pull for dear life to make sure they are not bunching up at the same time that I have to guide the quilt under the needle. I wish I had three hands.
So far, so good but there is still along way to go....
It's beautiful and all I can say is that you have tons more patience than I do. :-)
