We did get our spring snow yesterday.
It didn't amount to much but it was pretty coming down.
Before Mr. Winter returned yesterday, we had a string of several very warm days that were perfect for tearing into the fleece shed. Spring equals fleece washing around here and I've got a lot to wash as well as a lot to card.
First I had to dig it all out and figure out what is what. I really need to learn to label things. I have a lot of mystery wool and that's bad.
I also sorted out the washing and dyeing materials. They were full of dead stink bugs. Ew.
I know this is crazy. Even I think this is crazy but I love dirty wool. It's still a little chilly but as soon as it warms up again, me and this icky stuff have a date for a bubble bath. I can't wait.
Spring cleaning in the wool shed is a wonderful time! I have one fleece to wash.....I collect a lot of yarn and fabric but I don't collect fleece s. So far!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your crocs
ReplyDeleteNice socks! You raise sheep?
ReplyDeleteNo sheep. I just keep buying fleece. I think I may have a problem.
DeleteI'm glad you enjoyed your spring snow. My craft room needs a good spring cleaning -- a good job for the rainy days ahead.
