Halfway

We are halfway through January and my monthly cross stitch challenge is further along than I expected.

I never intended to finish each block during the month. I intended this to be a very long term project lasting maybe a few years but I am really enjoying my afternoons stitching away in the winter sunshine listening to an audiobook.

I would even be further along if I weren't splitting my stitching time with another project. Someone just may be needing a baby sampler in a few months. I can't say who, when or where quite yet but I can say that the little train at the bottom of the pamphlet might just be on the right track.

  1. Great progress and a wonderful idea to stitch each block in its month! Exciting reason for a derailment on this schedule though!!!

  2. You almost make me want to break out the stitching. Maybe I should frame the umpteen finished projects first and then create new ones! LOL

    1. Hahahaha....I never frame mine either. They are all folded up on a shelf somewhere.

  5. I just read Chrisknits comment and almost had a spit-take! That's the cross-stitch club I could join! I feel like your progress with the bum thumb on this sampler proves my point about your craft-amazingness. I love all things trains for things that you may tell us about later ;) I'm excited that you are sticking with the monthly cross stitch. It's already been fun to follow.
