About 12 or 15 years ago, the Potomac River froze solid from Virginia to DC. Despite warnings from the police not to do so, people were walking across the frozen river. I still regret that I didn't walk across--a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Beautiful pictures! I especially like the last one. No ice here but I do have a fire to take away the morning chill!
Love your photos. It's pretty cold here, but I haven't heard of any freezing like that. Yes, spring sounds pretty good.
No spring here. It won't come to Chicago until APRIL. It is 8 degrees out but the sun is shining brightly and Im DONE working out today so all's good albeit frigid
Ooh - that looks chilly! Of course, it's been so cold here that when I walked out this morning and it was a balmy 17 degrees Fahrenheit, I thought "Oh wow! Heat wave1"
Brrrrr! It's not nearly frigid here, just cold, gray, and damp, typical Seattle-in-the-winter, not yet rainy but soon, probably.
