The Waiting Game

Today Daddio is having eye surgery and I needed something to take along to keep me busy. He also has four rechecks in the next few weeks so I have a lot of sitting time coming up in the near future. I decided to just make another pair of plain ribbed socks as I hate fiddling with patterns when I am out in public. This yarn also has very short color segments which makes a very frantic color pattern so simple is best.

I won this sock yarn in a KAL last fall so I decided to put it to good use.

It's from Abstract Fiber and while it was not something I might have picked out for myself, it will make a nice mindless project with a completely unknown destination. No pressure there.

After all, while waiting for the Old Man to come out of anesthesia, I will have more to worry about than my knitting.

  1. Sounds like a good plan. Plain ribbed socks are the most comfy anyway and I like the color! Hope it all goes well with the eye surgery.
