I am trying to stay as positive as possible by focusing on the one and only thing to look forward to-St Patrick's Day. No, I'm not Irish but I pretend I am on March 17th.
Ages ago Daddio filled a bucket with Irish flag colored paper pieces so I am slowly but surely working my way through them while dreaming of warmer weather.There is nothing fancy going on with them. I am just putting blocks together for a simple table runner that will most likely be done by next St Patrick's Day.
If you haven't caught the paper piecing bug yet and have no idea what I am talking about, take a look at the back and it becomes clear. Daddio covers the stock paper squares and then

remember starting a paper pierced quilt when I was about 13, evenutually threw it out just a few years ago! it was terrible, more in the colour sense than anything else, I have since learnt how to quilt and hope to go back to it sometime...never paper pierced squares though, just hexagons xx
YOU are not alone! I have always HATED March. I have tried giving up hating March but it just doesn twork.
