The Mister has been asking Daddio and I to come and watch him play golf for a while now. The idea of spending hours on a cold, windy and soggy golf course has not been appealing. Weather wise, this fall has been a big disappointment.
We finally got a few gorgeous days in a row so we all headed out for a day in the sun. Daddio lost his driving privileges after that last surgery clouded his brain so he really enjoyed being behind the wheel again.
I was more interested in the groundskeepers than in the game. These goats were not particularly friendly but extremely efficient. The sound of them munching in unison was hilarious.
There were also chickens hiding in the bushes. I wonder how many of them got clunked on the head by golf balls. I hated to think about it.
It was a really beautiful day and the scenery was spectacular. It was really nice to get out of the house and just enjoy doing nothing.
Almost nothing, that is. Of course, I brought along some knitting.
