I thought I was very clever making a scarf out of all my leftover sock yarn.

Until the day dear old Dad had an issue with a sock I had knit him last year. He had torn a gaping hole from the ribbing to almost halfway down the leg that was 4 stitches wide.

If you look closely in the very center of my scarf you will find the yarn I need to make a decent repair. Needless to say, he is not getting a decent repair, he is getting some Frankenstein stitches. It'll have to do. Besides, I know he is going to just tear them up again.
