Hands Down
My hands are killing me. All that cleaning and hauling and wringing has done so much damage to my poor old fingers. It's been a real pain to knit again but I did get the body of Number 8 done.
I could only work with those tiny needles for a few minutes at a time so I drug out my Audun squares and hooked a couple in between knitting sessions. It took me a while to catch on to this again. I ripped out more than I got finished.
The best part of doing any of this is listening to my audiobooks again. I managed to pile up 5 credits I needed to use so I bought a bunch of cozy mysteries to get me through the summer. I made good use of one of them yesterday when I came down with a nasty migraine. My eyes were out of commission but my ears were working perfectly.
Those squares are so pretty - they are an Arne and Carlos pattern, right?
ReplyDeleteOh, the body lets you know when it is in overload! I agree, I am very grateful for audio books!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel much better today! Migraines are the pits. Is that a sock you are knitting? It looks complicated. Ripping must be in the air; I've been doing it a lot, too.
ReplyDeleteOh Debbie, I'm sorry about your hands. I can only imagine how painful they are, and then a migraine on top of it all. I love my audio books too. I've thought about audible, but so far I've been able to get all I want from the library for free!
ReplyDeleteLoving the crochet and that sweet little sweater.
Blessings,
Betsy
