In Like a Lamb

My big daffodils are in bloom already.

So are my itty bitty narcissus.

I've got clumps of crocus all over the place popping up out of the winter leaf piles.

This is usually my first clump to bloom because it is up against the south side of the house where it is nice and warm and sunny. The other crocus beat him to it this year. It's been that warm.

April isn't going to be about flowers this year, I'm afraid. It seems they all got a head start. It's 70 today and may even get to 80. I'm not sure what to think about that.

  1. Beautiful blooms. It got up to 70 here yesterday! But I think our temps are steadily dropping this week.

  2. Oh.... sigh... it will be several more weeks before I get anything like that.
We definitely haven't had the warmth!

  4. WOW! Blooms already. After our record breaking temps last week we woke up to 2 1/2 inches of snow this morning that was totally unexpected. At least with March snows, they don't last long.
    Blessings,
