Halloween!

The only good thing about this Halloween is that I scored three new little project bags. I've got nothing going on this Halloween. I didn't even buy a pumpkin. My orange tub of Halloween decorations is still in the basement. For the first time in forever I am not even going to make donuts. My mother always made donuts on Halloween and then I always made donuts on Halloween but I'm not feeling it this year.

Sadly the one new Halloween project didn't get too far. Wool of the Andes was making too heavy a fabric for a good sock. I'll get some stroll and try again.

The second best thing about this Halloween is that I've discovered the world's best Bloody Mary mix. Every year I send The Mister out to get one and every year he brings back something yucko. Not this year. I've even been drinking this without the vodka it's that good.

Finally, before being packed away, Mr. Jack wants to wish everyone a Happy Halloween. He'll see you next year!

I had to edit this post at 12:30 am after a nail biting Game 7. The fight is finished. Now I can finally get that darn song out of my head...baby shark doo doo doo doo doo....
Congrats Nats!

  1. LOL That song DOES tend to get stuck in your head. They play it at Phillies games too.

  3. Love the bags! Someone at my knitting group was knitting those socks with Hawthorne (or was it Stroll?? I think it was Hawthorne but now I can't remember.) and they looked fantastic! Love your Bloody Mary glass, but I'm not sure I could make myself bring that spider to my mouth. LOL Our original move date was last week so we didn't do any decorating either. Now tomorrow is our big day and I don't have a single piece of candy for tonight. Oops.

  4. Even with yarn too heavy, those socks are wonderful. I hope you DO make them in a lighter weight yarn so you can enjoy wearing them.
    Blessings,

  9. You do what you wish!!! Our Halloween has 6 inches of fresh snow. It will feel like Halloween when we get to the barn and play Halloween dress up games . Otherwise it feels really odd that it is more like Christmas outside!

  10. Looks like you had fun even if those decorations stayed in the bin.
