We had a small but festive gathering on Christmas Eve with the Grands. They didn't disappoint. They were adorable and hilarious. I couldn't get enough of them.
Dear DIL made her signature sangria in her enormous new kitchen. The family had moved a few weeks ago and were hosting their first holiday in their posh (very posh) new digs.
I owe #1 Son an apology for dissing last year's Christmas mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving. These were perfect. I had two helpings.
Mmmm....I don't eat meat but this looks yummy.
Dessert was a strawberry shortcake that was delish....
...with a side of some amazing artisan ice cream. We had fresh banana and crushed peppermint. Mmmm...
Though we were missing several family members we had a blast. Three dogs, two kids and a handful of silly grownups equals a very good time.
I'm glad you had a great day. It sounds perfect. Hubby and I spent a quiet day at home after church. It was nice, but quiet. Very quiet. Did I say quiet? :1)
