More Than Halfway

 May is flying by. Thanks to all this rain I've had a lot of sit down time lately so I've got some stitching done.



 I am trying to plow through it because I am a bit tired of it and ready to start something new. This is, after all, year two of this project.




I promised myself if I finished the whole thing by December 31st I could reward myself with something new. This is from 123stitch and I want it-or something like this. I may even have something like this stashed away already but I'm not going looking until I finish the one I'm working on. That's a sure way of never getting it done. I am easily distracted.



The little skates for Daughter are coming along. Beading wasn't as hard as I thought. In fact, I like it. I am going to have to dig out that beaded Santa I have stashed away somewhere when I finish these because I'm on a roll with this stitching thing.

    You are on a roll with the cross stitching! Very pretty! I love the sampler....I did one once, it is a good one-time project! lol

    I enjoy watching your stitching progress. It will be such a happy piece. You make me want to break into the cross-stitch boxes and find something to work on too.

    Just a few more rainy days and you'll have both those projects DONE! LOL

    Your stitchery is beautiful. It's been years since I cross stitched but have recently begun a new project. I am finding that's I'm really enjoying it.

    I will have to live vicariously through your cross stitch....to much eye strain for me. I just love that little skate. So cute!

    I totally understand! I am easily distracted, too. Cross stitch isn't the fastest craft. I'm also trying to be monogamous with cross stitching.

    Those stitches are so tiny, I would need a magnifying glass. Love it, hope you get done by your target date.
