That mystery fiber I spun last Monday was Peanut, a Texel X. I bought her/him only last year at the MDSW. Goodness. I should have remembered that. That's not good.
He/she was one of my 2015 TdF projects for crying out loud. I really should have remembered that.
I had dyed fiber all over the place for days. You would have thought I would have at least remembered that.
Those batts aren't here anywhere so they must have already been spun. I went looking for the evidence and I didn't have to look far to find it. I feel so stupid.
How could I not remember I already had two skeins of it in the handspun stash?
There is even a pretty little swatch. Doh....I must really be losing it. I'll be in the room next to Daddio before you know it.
The yarn is gorgeous, just perfect ow the colors are blended.

Wowzers! That's A LOT of fiber!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad...I can't remember how old I am half the time. Although that might be subconciously intentional on my part.
ReplyDeleteI think you proved your own point! You do so much, not just with the spinning and knitting but so many other crafts, it's no wonder you spaced out for a hot minute. Go easy on yourself, lady. You hold it down way better than I could, am, can -- with productive style as well :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot going on there lady! Dont' worry Deb I forget about yarn and such too. I LOVE what you found, though
ReplyDeleteJust the other day I walked into a room and couldn't remember why. It happens to everyone, especially when they're super busy like you are!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, soft, spring colors. So glad you found it.
ReplyDeleteI have moments like that - drives me crazy.
ReplyDeleteYou are in a age group with friends that totally get what your are going through! lol You did remember, you did find the stuff and now you are laughing about it-all healthy signs!
