On Fire

The Mister had a coupon burning a hole in his pocket. He talked about it for weeks.

He loves his Yankee Candles. It's not Christmas unless he comes home with a bag full of them. I always have to go along to supervise because there are some smells I can't stand. Food smells for one. I don't want my house smelling like hazelnut coffee or chocolate cake. It makes me want to eat all day and that's bad. This year we'll be smelling like green things for the most part. You can't go wrong with the green ones.

  1. That is too funny to me! I only like the green ones! I tell my husband, only buy the green or orange ones and that goes for those ceramic melts scent cubes, too! My daughter thinks I'm crazy but now I know I am not alone!!!

  2. so funny. I came home with THE SMELL OF CHRISTMAS yesterday. Its pine scented in a great way. We have an artificial tree so it helps make it REAL.

  4. Oh I love delicious smelling candles... but Dave gets cranky if I burn too many... they give him headaches.

  5. I think it's really cool that you husband likes scented candles. My favorites are anything that smells, "clean". This time of year, I'm a fan of the Christmas Tree smell. I think the way you describe the food smells explain why I'm not such a fan of the vanilla scented ones anymore.
