Shopping the Stash

I felt so bad about not buying anything at this year's SVFF that I came home and tore into the stash room.

I had to prove to myself that I wanted for nothing.

I've got tons of stuff from all the fiber world rock stars gathering dust...

...and  I only attacked the shelves. There is plenty more in the closet but I'll save that for another day.

Now everything is neat and orderly and I can see what I have.

I also took the time to organize the handspun.

Since I had the itch to spin something that didn't need prepping first (I'm talking about you Shetland locks) I decided to combine some processed Shetland top with some fleece I had washed and dyed many moons ago.

After reorganizing two bins of orphan handspun, I realize I need more handspun like I need a hole in the head but I need to spin. Need. To. Spin. It's a sickness.

  1. Oh, I get it; spinning isn't just about getting yarn. I love to shop the stash!

  2. Yes, it is a sickness, but I don't want to be cured!
