Wednesday WIPs: When it Rains it Pours

 

All I managed to work on this week was the Hue Shift. I had to do the first square in the third row twice. The square I'm working on now seems to be behaving.

It turned out to be another one of those days. I woke up at 2 am with a terrible headache and at 9 am ended up here. At the vets. 

I thought someone had a UTI but it turned out it was just an inflamed backside. She got a butt trim and a good cleaning and was sent home with a 10 day supply of antibiotics. She had gotten a bath on Saturday and I might have been too zealous with the soap and the washrag in a certain delicate area. Expensive lesson learned. $350.

She absolutely hates the vets and wore herself out fretting about it. That turned out to be a good thing because she was calm for the rest of the day and we spent it napping my headache away. Here's hoping today is a better day for us both.
