Thwarted

 

I woke up yesterday excited to finish up my last few batches of soap only to discover that I didn't have enough lye. I had the urge to make something, so I baked.



Apple cake and pumpkin bread. The house didn't smell like my latest soap creation but it did smell good. The new lye should be here tomorrow.

    I would like a piece of each please, even though I'm trying to limit my sugar and carbs right now. My last physical put me in the pre-diabetic category so I'm "trying" to do better but I fail a lot since I LOVE sugar.
