The California Red that I've been spinning is not making me happy. I'm not liking the clown barf colorway.
I hate to drag out the drum carder this time of year. I'd rather be doing this outside but since it is still too muggy and buggy I cleaned off the soap making table and gave it a go inside. There was a lot of vacuuming involved when I was done but I did end up with a nice neutral colored batt to show for my efforts. I'm going to have to work my way through that bin one color at a time so hopefully Mother Nature will be on my side soon and give me a day outside. I could do this all day if the weather is right.
I have a fleece waiting for me and cooler weather, too. It waits. The neutral would be a good strand to ply with the colorful one-they will balance each other!
