Pupdate

I've gone from sleeping in a chair for 85 days to sleeping on the floor for who knows how long. I took the cushions off my Ikea Poang and made a pillow fort for Pup and I to live in until this latest nightmare is over. We're pretty much up all night so we've been watching the Jubilee live streams and then binge watching The Crown to pass the time.  

I spent all day Thursday looking for a veterinary surgeon who could fix that bad hip sooner but what they had were appointments for the end of July and even August. Everyone is booked solid. There must be a lot of hurting critters out there. We are on some  cancellation lists but there are no promises. So we wait.

The cherry on the top of all this heartache was saying goodbye to dear Mini. They came and literally drug her crushed body away yesterday and I cried myself into a nasty old migraine. Even my neighbor who was watching was in tears. They all knew how much she meant to me. I kept the old girl sparkling. She was like brand new inside and out. 

I have had some bright spots in the miserable week. Sandflies sent me some coffee in spite of going through some tough times of her own. 

And Michelle sent me this adorable change purse she made with some cute critters.
