Daughter bought this pretty fabric from Spoonflower and asked me to make masks for her team as a holiday gift.
It's been quite the undertaking. I am trying to do four a day. I know most of you could knock out four an hour but I'm not really very good at this kind of sewing.
I take apart as many as I finish but they are coming along. I've got quite a pile of them now.
Speaking of pretty in pink....look at this cute little hot water bottle I found on Amazon. It's got a little pink jacket. I actually ordered a green one but a pink one showed up. I'm not really fussy and since I have a terrible headache at the moment I've put it to good use. I love it so much I'm going to have to give it a name and order another. Maybe the green one will show up this time.
I think you're doing an outstanding job with the masks. I really should make a few more since it seems we'll be wearing them forever.
ReplyDeleteThe hot water bottle is really cute. It's so small!
Blessings,
Betsy
Oops, I hit publish and I meant to say I hope your headache is gone very quickly.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
spoonflower has some great fabric, but it's soooo expensive! Those masks are sweet.
ReplyDeleteThat fabric is really adorable! I know the masks will be much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteTake care and I hope you lose the headache soon - I never thought of a hot water bottle!
Such pretty masks!
ReplyDeleteI think the fabric is perfect--and you are doing a great job! I was just talking about a hot water bottle for someone yesterday--very nice.
ReplyDeleteI like Spoonflower as well. You should call it Lady Margaret.
ReplyDeleteThat fabric is perfect for a skating team! Hope your little hot water bottle helps your headache.
ReplyDeleteOh and there is nothing like a nice hot water bottle. I have used one many times this fall/winter for my sore, tired, cold hands! I love the skating masks. You are so good!
ReplyDeleteSometimes pink is just the perfect color. It is soft and not harsh, so wonderful. Great job on the masks.
