Duck, Duck...

September is for spinning. I picked this up at the MDSW in May.

 It's the Wooden Ducks colorway.

I am going to try to keep big bits of color together and then chain ply it. That's my plan but fiber can sometimes have a mind of its own.

I stuff this bag with the fiber and then hang it on the Ladybug so the cats can't get to it but I can see it and remember it's there. I haven't touched a wheel since the Tour ended and I'm out of the routine. What I need is a good binge watch or a good Netflix movie to get me going. Any suggestions?

  1. Beautiful fiber, we’ve been binge watching Father Brown on Netflix. We always love both British shows and good murder mysteries. With Father Brown you get both!

  2. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society was a good book and a good movie. It’s on Netflix. I hope you get back in your groove.

  3. Not much of a tv Watcher but I download library books and recently listened an Ellery Queen mystery Cat of Many Tails. I managed to solve the mystery but it was my first Ellery Queen and I enjoyed the story while working on a Knit Weave sweater.

Have you watched season 4 of Shetland?

  5. Broadchurch is a good British crime series on Netflix, and Longmire (also on Netflix) is also good.

  6. That should work up into a beautiful yarn! Can't wait to see it. How do you chain ply? Have you watched/read the Outlander series?

  7. The colors in your fiber are beautiful. Look forward to seeing it spun. I am in favor of anything that makes me think of fall and that fiber does.

  11. I haven’t been spinning the last week or so either. Not sure why.
If you get Amazon prime, I recommend Shetland, Scott and Bailey, or Rosemary and Thyme for detective shows. To Walk Invisible was a lovely short about the Brontes. Also The Durrells in Corfu. Larkrise to Candleford was excellent but I did get a bit tired of it after a few seasons

What I meant to say was,"Thanks to everyone for the recommendations of tv shows!"
