The Day After

Another Easter is now history. We had a great day. Daughter made this cute bunny cake that we were too full to eat much of after our dinner.

Egg dyeing was popular.

As was looking for eggs.

I had a hard time coming up with things to put in the eggs this year. What do you put in them?

The grands are old enough now to be impressed with all the crazy crafting things I have. We did some stamping and watercoloring to catch our breath before an after dinner romp in the yard. Now I need a day to recoup. All that work and it's over in a flash. I'll clean it all up tomorrow.

  1. Isn't it fun when the kiddos get old enough to enjoy crafting the things that you craft?

I remember teaching my son to cross stitch. He may have not stuck with it, but it was fun while it lasted.

  6. What an adorable cake! I hesitate to make anything with a face on it because they always seem to come out very angry or creepy - that looks like a very happy bunny!

  8. Wow! What a fun time with the grandkids Looks like you put in the same things as all of us do in the eggs: candy, money, stickers, little toys. And of course, the golden egg with a $20 bill!
