Going in Circles

This curved piecing is killing me.

This is the second block on the second row and I am considering it done even though I need to go back and pull that center in a bit more. There is a gap.

Look at block three. Really? Those are even bigger curves. Jeesh.

  1. Looks like you've got the hang of it though. I'm playing post catch up here. I missed several because of a serious bee infestation here on the farm. Had to call in the big guns. It was Orkid to the rescue. The air was thick with bees and I'm allergic. Sixteen Hives were removed. It was total panic trying to keep a horse calm through it all but hopefully we've got it under control now and I can get back to my daily reading.

  2. I'm in awe of your patience: the tiny pieces would send me screaming into the hills!

  3. That is a beautiful square! I don’t know how you can get it so smooth looking with those curves. Well, if anyone can, you can do it.,

  4. The block looks okay-fold over one of the points and the gap will never show! The larger curves will be easier-really! You are doing a great job on this quilt! (take a step back and pretend a friend is doing this and you would have nothing but good to say about it! Right?!)

  7. This is going to be a very amazing quilt! Those curves look fine. Remember, if you can't see it from 100 yards on a galloping horse it's fine. (Our quilt group's motto!)
