Let the Games Begin!

A few months ago I had some major Olympic dreams. Right now I've got nothing. The mojo is gone baby gone. Blame the heat, blame all the prep for Theatre camp. Blame whatever you want but I don't feel like starting anything new.



I need to finish things that are nagging at me like my Cosy Stripe blankie. It's been living in its plastic box under the coffee table for three years now.




 It's not going to get done during the Olympics for sure, but I can at least make a decent dent in it. This is the last color sequence I am going to do. It's the fourth in the Attic 24 series. There are more in the original pattern but I'm over it. It's big enough for me.



 I got a head start on Thursday watching ladies soccer/football. All of those ladies rock. They play hard.



Meanwhile I'm just sitting in a pile of yarn and watching the world go by on the TV. Ain't life grand.

    It's a great way to pass the hot summer days AND by the time you need it, you'll have something warm to throw over your legs.

    It's a beautiful blanket but you are one BRAVE lady. Working with all of that yarn in your heat. I'm sticking to socks and baby stuff for awhile.
