The Perfect Pot

Last Christmas, Daughter and I were out shopping when I spied this wonderful little stainless steel teapot made by Palm. It was perfect except for the fact it was missing the lid. We searched the shelves in vain. No lid. No sale. I was heartbroken. For the past year I have haunted every store that carries home goods to see if I could find one WITH a lid. No luck.
Daughter called me this week with the news that she had come upon one-with a lid. Did I want it? You bet!

Tea snob that I am, it was the large fine mesh basket inside for loose leaf tea that made this pot so irresistible and the fact that it was metal. Sitting on my tea warmer, it keeps tea steaming hot all day. I love it.

  1. Love it! Where did you get your warmer? I have this pot http://www.amazon.com/Bodum-Assam-17-Ounce-Stainless-Steel-Filter/dp/B000JWFH5M that I found at a thrift shop (brand new!) for $3 or $4! Funny, I only drink tea in the winter and just made Oolong for the kids since they are off school this morning. Do you like black licorice? Stash makes a wonderful Licorice Spice tea that I enjoy when it's cold outside!
