Poor pitiful Zelda has been passed around in our family for ages. My sister found her in our grandmother's attic when we were kids and we pretty much have been torturing her ever since. This is how she looked when I took her from my mom's house after she passed away. I had made her that dress years and years ago. My mom had bought her the wig and the shoes. Pretty much everything was torn and dirty. It all had to go.
This is how she looked when I found her last week in a pile of junk from all the stuff I was getting ready to pitch from the remodel. No....I am NOT going to pitch her but I had to do something. I felt terrible when I found her in this sorry condition.
Ebay to the rescue. I was going to make her an outfit myself. I even had the pattern but with all I have going on I knew I wouldn't have the time or the patience.
For $20 and free shipping I got the dress and the hat. It's surprisingly sturdy material. The dress is very heavy. I was more than pleased with how well it was made.
I also found this vintage wig from another vendor for $20. It's kind of meh but it's still better than her little bald head. I'm very happy Zelda has a new lease on life. Now I just have to figure out where to put her.
