Tiny Needle Tuesday: FO

September is done thanks to my kitty sitting vacation! That means I have the rest of the month to play with some other neglected projects.

The bottom section of my sheep breed sampler is also done.

Now I just have to do the top section.  It looks like a big deal. Yikes.

I did work a little more on the crewel project while I was gone even though I said I wasn't. It's really addicting.

And as for Dear Jane, the latest block is a real horror. It looked so simple but it's not. I hate curved piecing. Ugh.

  3. You certainly got a lot done while kitty sitting! All of your projects are so pretty. I'm still in love with the Fall colors in your crewel project. And, of course, the darling sheep....

  4. Rough or simple, you are doing well on that Dear Jane quilt project!!! Love the sheep samplers--you're cruising through them!

  5. I would never in a million years have the patience or talent to do curved piecing. Your cross stitching looks fantastic and almost makes me want to put down the knitting & dig out an old cross stitch project.

  6. What an accomplishment! The bottom half looks wonderful and the top half is working up beautifully!
The crewel work is lovely - I've always loved working with that type of fiber. Sending good vibes for the Dear Jane - I have a feeling you'll work out that curved part!!

  7. Dear Jane was seriously patient. I cannot imagine working with those tiny pieces without today's gadgets.

  8. Your sheep sampler is looking awesome. The top portion does look like a big deal. Hopefully, it will be one of those sections that works up easier than you expect. The crewel is looking great. The more you do, the better it looks. Dear Jane would be in time out indefinitely if I were working on that project.

  10. Nice work! I love that crewel project! I've always enjoyed crewel stitching. For some reason I can still see that unlike the cross stitching.
