Like Old Times

 I used to order from Knit Picks all the time. I rarely do anymore because the stash is overwhelming.



 When I needed a new circular for socks I jumped at the chance to fill a cart to that magic $50 limit for free shipping. I'm such a sucker.



 My first experience with Hawthorn was not good. I hated the color and I hated the socks. This time I got some on sale and I made sure I got some pretty colors.



They also had a free bag thing going. You can never have enough project bags, right?

    Would you believe I placed a $55 order the day before they started the free bag deal? I was so frustrated. I love the bag that you got. It’s the one I would have chosen. Congratulations on a fun order!

    That bag is so cute!! The only things I have arriving this week are paper towels and toilet tissue - not quite the same feeling when of excitement when opening the boxes!

    Im going to lornas laces on tuesday!!!!!!! Small miracle. I will be in the big city of chicago on a date thry are open to the public!.......i may take out a loan!

    Knitpicks is my go to for DPNS (I get my Chiao Goo circs from Amazon).
    That bag order was just too good to pass up, wasn't it! Love the sock yarn you picked!

    That is some beautiful yarn, I have yet to use Hawthorne. Love the floors you are putting in and all of your very beautiful projects.

    There is a KnitPicks catalog hang out in our kitchen. It's hard to leave it alone. I hope you like these skeins of Hawthorne; so many people rave about it.

    I love the KnitPicks and Connecting Threads in the mail day!!! (I saw the quilt that calls you!) I think you will enjoy these skeins of Hawthorne--glad you remembered to add the needles to the cart after all of the distractions! lol
