Wednesday WIPs
I didn't pack up my projects this week to head up to the Grands because after Saturday's adventure I realized there isn't going to be much down time with those two anymore. Back at home, I did get a few rounds on The Mister's Riddari. The next round I work on will be the last of the 3 color rounds. Hallelujah.
I've been trying to put four rows on each of these projects every night we've been home. Slowly but surely. I think there's still enough winter left for me to get some use out of the mittens but that cowl...it's going to take some time.
The Mister has another big finish this week. After whining and complaining about how many pieces there were and how big it was and how the colors were all the same, he blew right threw it in a couple of weeks. He's packed it away now which is a good thing. Every time I walked past it I got hungry. Kraft Mac and Cheese? Haven't had it in years but it was good. Hostess Snowballs? Yes, please.
And...The Mister finished his sparkly fall diamond art project this week as well. He's been on a roll getting things done. I wish I could say the same for me.
The sweater looks amazing. I would knit mittens but i live in the desert not much call for them out here:( Yours look amazing.
ReplyDeleteI've been noticing lately that Iris is beginning to play a bit by herself - able to entertain herself. Not long enough to do anything, but that will come! I love that sweater - so pretty. And your mitts are gorgeous. Our cold weather doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on reaching a Riddari milestone! That puzzle reminded of the good days when I used to have a Devil Dog in my lunch. You've been getting plenty done when you aren't tending to Betty!
ReplyDeleteHope the time with the grands is going well! Nice finishes for your husband!
ReplyDeleteIf you need more winter - head on over here. We're right in the middle of another winter storm!
ReplyDeleteRiddari is coming along great. It's amazing how busy those grands can be isn't it? I never try to get anything done around "J" anymore either. The Mister is really on a roll. Good for him.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
I'm about to make a start on Riddari following your inspiration...well, after I finish the sleeves and neck and on a baby sweater, that is. The yarn arrived yesterday from Iceland so I must get those needles moving.
ReplyDeleteThe Mister's head is going to swell...
ReplyDeleteThe sweater is coming along nicely. Congratulations on the puzzle finish.
