Two Down, One to Go
I've made it through two days of this three day sitting week. So far, so good. No bending, twisting or lifting for me but the poor Mister is getting a workout. The Knitting Policeman is waiting at the door for me every morning to make sure progress is being made on the socks.
We built forts in the morning.
Had lessons in the afternoon.
And hacked up a watermelon for snack. Don't judge me. Daughter has hidden all the good knives so I had to make do with what I could find.
After the many rain storms passed through, Big Grand got a lesson on why snapdragons are called snap dragons. He was impressed.
Right before we pack up to leave it's snuggle time while sharing some screen time with Pingu. We'll be back tomorrow to do it all again and twice next week.
I've never had to knit with the Knitting Police checking my progress every morning; that's pressure! It makes me so happy that you have taught Big Grand about the snapping dragon in Snapdragons. I remember when my grandmother showed me and I was enthralled.
ReplyDeleteEven impaired with back pain---you are an amazing Grandma!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet pictures.
ReplyDeleteAll so lovely.
ReplyDeleteI don’t know how you’re doing it all with your back. Love your knitting police taking his job so seriously.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Oh so very cute.
ReplyDeleteOh - you reminded me I need to get snapdragons. My seeds are taking their time!
ReplyDeleteThose grands look like they keep you on your toes!
It's so nice that you are within driving distance of your grandchildren. That is the cutest knitting policeman I've ever seen. I can just imagine the toe tapping going on while you work on those socks.
