TNT: Nothing to See Here

There's no way I could bend over a project knitting, stitching or otherwise so I've got nothing to show off this week. I did make a trip across town with The Mister to pick up an online order of groceries yesterday and make a brief run into PetSmart to get Pup's food. It was too much, too soon and I paid the price for it yesterday afternoon.

I have added these to my collection of back pain remedies. I should mention that this particular episode isn't worse than the others, it's just the first time I've ever had to go without an anti-inflammatory.  I can't take Motrin or any NSAID with another medication the doctor put me on in January. I swore I wouldn't go down the interaction rabbit hole I saw my parent's go down as they aged but here we are. To say I'm furious with this old body after living my life in a way not to get to this point is an understatement. If I'd have known, I would have enjoyed myself more.

  1. So sorry your back is bothering you (still). I've been using a magnesium foam on my shoulders and knees and that is helping.

  2. I'm sorry you can't take NSAIDs! I was on Eliquis for a while after a pulmonary embolism and couldn't take NSAIDs. Acetaminophen was a poor choice for a headache as it did nothing for me. I'm thankful I can take NSAIDs now, especially because my orthopedic doc has me on 600 mg/day. Here's hoping your new freezy stuff helps!

  3. I am so sorry to read this. My DH has back pain 24/7 - some days are better, too many days are worse. Aging is not for the faint of heart. Hope you get some relief soon.

  6. I second acupuncture. It did give me a little relief, especially for my feet. I'm praying for you my friend.
    Blessings and hugs,
