The Mister went to play golf yesterday and in my down time I decided to explore the things I can do that don't require too much back action. Spiral Chicken on my new lap frame worked very well. I've decided to make peace with the gray that made me so unhappy last year and just finish the darn thing. It's supposed to be a primitive art form from a time when Etsy did not exist. Rug makers made do with what they had on hand and so should I. Weird little pops of color are to be expected, even encouraged. At least that's what I'm telling myself.

Nixe to see Spiral Chicken again - I really like that piece. I had completely forgotten about Maryland Sheep & Wool!
ReplyDeleteI think Spiral Chicken looks great and those sheep and goats are kind of unexpected on a golf course. I didn't remember that MDSW was coming up so soon, so get ready to walk!
ReplyDeleteYou know how much I love spiral chicken and I think no matter how you finish it - it will look great!
ReplyDeleteI've heard of goats and sheep being used for course maintenance --- nice to have photographic evidence.
ReplyDeleteMSWF!!!! Oh how I wish I could go with you. It always looks like so much fun. Spiral Chicken is coming along well and will be finished soon.
ReplyDeleteLove the lawn mowers. I wouldn't get much golfing done. I would be trying to pet the workers. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy
Well that is one progressive golf course. The chicken is quite fun. I love the idea of using what I have - sometimes I do better than others though.
ReplyDeleteSpiral chicken looks wonderful! I am surprised at the goats/sheep on the golf course! Fun.
