I don't know what I was thinking with the dark yarn. I nearly lost my mind casting it on in the gloom. They went right into the travel knitting bag. I might be able to see what I'm doing with them in the daylight. The verdict is still out on how much I like this yarn. It reminds me more of Knit Picks sock yarn than Regia and I really like Regia. It's soft and a tiny bit splitty but I suppose if you like your socks on the limp side this yarn's for you.

Look at you with 2 pairs of finished socks. I fear I will never be able to knit enough socks to finish all the sock yarn in my stash.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on two great finishes and a couple of great cast-ons! You have a very efficient sock knitting process.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty colors - all of them. I like your finished ones a lot. I finally finished the Family Socks!!!
ReplyDeleteThe new socks are beautiful! Sorry the sock yarn is a bit disappointing--hoping it will grow on you!
ReplyDeleteThe two completed pairs of socks are just beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteThose socks look absolutely perfect. It amazes me how you do that. Mine will start out that way and then turn a bit off.
ReplyDeleteI have a pair on the needles that are a very dark yarn and I can only knit on them when it's daylight. Even lights shining directly on them don't help at all.
Take care my dear friend.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
How nice to have two new pairs of socks. I avoid dark colored yarns for socks because the stitches are so tiny it is easy to drop a stitch and never notice. Daylight - like bright sunshine will help though.
