Bag Lady
I never understood this scene from Steele Magnolias until....
...I bought these. When we usually travel up to Daughter's for an overnight baby sitting gig I pack all my stuff in lots of different shopping bags which was a pain. Now I have all my personal stuff in the suitcase and all my crafty stuff in the top bag. Since we're going back every Tuesday-Wednesday for the next six weeks I don't even have to unpack it just add more clean clothes after I do the laundry. Silly me just had to go try and find a pair of somewhat matching floral Crocs.
I wanted these but the $70 price tag put me off so instead....
...I settled for these that I found half price at Dick's Sporting Goods. They don't really match but they'll work until I can find ones that do.
You will be the most fashionable traveling grandmother on the east coast!
ReplyDeleteNow I love matching shoes for my outfit but matching my luggage is a new one! lol A great new pairing!!!
ReplyDelete$70 for Crocs!!! Holy moly. I think the ones you got at Dick's will work.
ReplyDeleteThey must be super comfortable. I see EVERYBODY wearing them.
LOVE this!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's me when I'm headed to Moms... backpack for electronics, overnight bag, then 2-3 large projects in bags (quilts) it's a nightmare! I like your system much better!
ReplyDeleteI adore your luggage. I like to have different looking luggage than anyone else so it's easy to find at the airport. I had brown ones with scenes of Paris all over them as my graduation gift from my parents. For 46 years they served me well, taking me all over the world...before the wheels broke off the big suitcase in Heathrow last year. Now I have standard black bags but have crocheted birght colored "ribbons" to put around every handle. No one else has those! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the crocs too!
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
